How to Add or Edit Description of a WordPress Event

Overview

Adding a clear and relevant Description to your Events helps attendees better understand what the Event is about before they register. With EventPrime, you can easily add or update Event Descriptions to ensure your content stays informative, accurate, and up to date.

Steps to Add and Edit Description to Event

1. Navigate to the EventPrime menu and select the All Events submenu. Click the Add New Event button to create a new Event.

2. On the Add New Event page, enter the Description for your Event in the Description field and click the Publish button to save it.

3. Alternatively, if you want to change the Description for an already published Event, go to the EventPrime menu and select the All Events submenu.

In the list of Events, click the Edit button for the Event you want to update.

4. On the Edit Event page, update the Description field with your new Description and click the Update button to apply your changes.

Frontend View

On the Event Details page, the Description you add will be visible to users right below the Event title. This section gives attendees a clear overview of what the Event is about, helping them make informed decisions before Booking.
