How to add Additional Dates to an Event in WordPress?

Overview

EventPrime allows you to define Additional Dates under Event Settings. These dates can then be used when configuring Ticket Availability and Booking Modification availability. By selecting Choose from saved event dates, you can tie availability rules directly to milestones such as rehearsals, technical days, or VIP access.

Steps to Use Additional Dates

1. Navigate to the EventPrime menu, select the All Events submenu, and click the Edit button for the Event where you want to add additional dates.

2. On the Edit Event page, go to the Event Settings section, open Date & Time tab, check the Additional relevant dates box, then enter the date, time (optional), and provide label for it(e.g. Rehearsal Day). Click the Add button to add more additional dates.

3. Application 1: For Booking modification, go to the Bookings tab and enable Allow Booking Modification. Under the Allow Until setting, choose from Event dates or Relative dates. From the Event Option dropdown, you can select the Additional Date you added earlier to define until when users can edit their Booking details.

4. Application 2: For ticket availability, go to the Tickets tab and click the Edit button for an existing ticket (or create a new ticket. If you don’t know how to create a ticket type, refer to this article). In the Add/Edit Ticket screen, open the Availability tab. Under Date Type, select Choose from saved event dates or Set a relative Date option and from the Event Option dropdown, select the Additional Dates you created. You can also use these Additional Dates to set the end date for ticket availability.
