How to Use PayPal for WordPress Events in EventPrime

Overview

EventPrime allows you to accept Event payments using PayPal, enabling attendees to complete secure online payments during Event checkout. By configuring PayPal in EventPrime settings, you can offer a trusted payment option for paid Events and manage transactions directly through your PayPal account.

Enable PayPal Payments in EventPrime

Step 1: Enable PayPal from EventPrime Settings

• Navigate to EventPrime menu and select Settings submenu.
• Open the Payments tab.
• Locate PayPal in the list of available payment processors.
• Enable PayPal using the status toggle.
• If multiple payment methods are enabled, you can also set PayPal as the Default payment option.
• Click the Manage button next to PayPal to configure its settings

Step 2: Configure PayPal Settings

On the PayPal settings page, configure the following options:

• Enable/Disable PayPal
  Turn on PayPal to make it available on the checkout page for Events.
• PayPal Sandbox Mode
  Enable this option to test payments using PayPal Sandbox credentials.

When an attendee books Tickets for an Event, they can select PayPal as the payment method on the checkout page. After clicking the PayPal button, the attendee is redirected to the PayPal checkout screen, where they log in using their PayPal credentials and complete the payment. Once the payment is successful, the Booking is automatically created and confirmed for the Event in EventPrime, ensuring a secure and seamless payment experience for both Organizers and attendees.
