EventPrime Implements Custom Shared Ticket Category System for European Sports Association

EventPrime, a leading event management company, successfully delivered a custom shared ticket category system for a European sports association. The project enabled the client to manage shared capacity limits across multiple ticket types — a feature particularly valuable for large-scale sports events requiring flexibility and precise control over bookings.

The client required a booking mechanism allowing multiple ticket categories to share a single total capacity limit. For example, VIP and Regular categories could both draw from the same seat pool while maintaining independent pricing and availability. To meet this requirement, EventPrime’s development team implemented a custom shared category control that automatically synchronized ticket availability across all linked categories whenever a booking was made.

To achieve this functionality, EventPrime engineers developed a unified solution integrating the EventPrime Core Shared Category Extension with a Custom Limit Management Extension. Both components were built directly into the EventPrime system, enabling real-time updates to total seat availability and preventing overbooking during high-demand periods.

The customization was configured within EventPrime → Global Settings → General, ensuring seamless alignment with the client’s existing event infrastructure. The implementation included comprehensive development, testing, documentation, and deployment phases, supported by staging builds for validation before the final rollout.

This project demonstrates EventPrime’s capability to design scalable and domain-specific customizations that align with organizational objectives while enhancing operational efficiency and event management performance.
