3. Getting Started

EventPrime Check-in works with your existing EventPrime installation on WordPress. To begin:

  1. Install and activate EventPrime on your WordPress site.
  2. Install and activate EventPrime Events Tickets and EventPrime Event Attendee Check in extensions.
  3. Generate an App Password (recommended for security).
  4. Download EventPrime Check-in from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  5. Log in using:
    • Your WordPress site URL
    • Your Username or App Password
    • Your EventPrime access credentials

4. System Requirements

Mobile Devices

  • Android: Android 7.0 or later
  • iOS: iOS 14.0 or later

WordPress Requirements

  • EventPrime plugin active on your site
  • EventPrime Events Tickets extension active
  • EventPrime Event Attendee Check in extension active
  • Secure HTTPS connection recommended
  • REST API enabled
  • Compatible hosting server configuration

If your server blocks REST API requests, the App may not connect.


5. Common Issues & Solutions

Issue: Unable to Log In

  • Check that your Site URL is correct (including https://).
  • Ensure EventPrime is activated on your WordPress site.
  • Ensure EventPrime Events Tickets and EventPrime Event Attendee Check in are installed and active.
  • Verify your credentials or try logging in with an App Password.
  • Make sure your server allows REST API access.

Issue: QR Code Does Not Scan

  • Grant Camera Permission when prompted.
  • Clean the device camera lens.
  • Ensure the QR code is properly generated by EventPrime Events Tickets.
  • Improve lighting conditions around the code.

Issue: Sync or Loading Delays

  • Check your internet connectivity.
  • If offline, the App will queue check-ins and sync automatically later.
  • Large events may take longer to load—allow extra time.
  • Ensure your hosting server meets performance requirements.

Issue: Check-ins Not Updating

  • Confirm that EventPrime is updated to the latest version.
  • Confirm that EventPrime Events Tickets and EventPrime Event Attendee Check in are updated and active.
  • Ensure that the logged-in user has proper WordPress permissions.
  • Retry when the network connection improves.
